Transbull Group participates in Fruit Attraction 2026 as one of the 24 companies from the port community accompanying the Port Authority of the Bay of Algeciras (APBA) at IFEMA Madrid. The company has brought to the fair a delegation led by its CEO, Raúl Bernal; its CCO, Miguel Hormigo, and the head of Customs, Aitor Ojeda, within an agenda of meetings with clients, importers, exporters, carriers, and other professionals linked to the market of fruits and vegetables.
Transbull's presence in Madrid focuses on its portfolio of logistics services for perishable goods, which combines refrigerated and dry storage, customs representation, national and international transport, and freight forwarding activity. This structure allows managing different phases of the movements of fruits and vegetables that use Algeciras in their import and export chains.
The company has in Algeciras more than 2,400 square meters dedicated to temperature-controlled storage and 21 refrigerated loading docks. These facilities allow attending operations of receiving, storing, and dispatching perishable goods that need to maintain certain thermal conditions during their stay in the logistics platform.
Raúl Bernal, CEO of Grupo Transbull, links participation in Fruit Attraction with the integration of services currently offered by the company. "Our goal is to accompany the client in the different phases of their logistics chain, from customs management to storage and transportation. In the fruit and vegetable sector, where timing and product preservation are crucial, having these coordinated services from Algeciras allows us to handle import and export operations with different origins and destinations."
The refrigerated activity is complemented by storage for dry goods and the group's customs structure. Transbull has authorization as an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) and provides representation services before Customs, documentation management, and advice on foreign trade operations.
This combination allows coordinating within a single structure the passage of goods through customs procedures, their eventual storage at temperature-controlled conditions, and subsequent transport to the client or distribution platform. The model is applicable both to products arriving from transoceanic markets and to agri-food traffic related to Morocco and the Strait.
Transbull also has land and international transport services and works with full load operations and other distribution solutions. The company maintains activity with Morocco and various European destinations, which allows connecting the flows passing through Algeciras with the final consumption and distribution markets.
Miguel Hormigo, CCO of Grupo Transbull, points out that Fruit Attraction allows maintaining direct contact with the different members of this chain. "The fair brings together producers, exporters, importers, carriers, and distributors in the same space. For us, it is an opportunity to understand their needs firsthand and analyze how to adapt our cold, transport, and logistics services to campaigns that change depending on markets, products, and commercial flows."
The company works with goods from markets in Africa and America destined later for Spain and other European countries. The location of Algeciras within these chains allows combining long-distance maritime traffic with the connections of the Strait and subsequent land distribution.
In the customs field, Transbull intervenes in the preparation and processing of the necessary declarations for international operations and in the documentary coordination associated with goods. For fruits and vegetables from third countries, this activity must be coordinated with the official controls that correspond before the load can continue to its destination.
Aitor Ojeda, head of Customs at Grupo Transbull, has valued the presence in Madrid as an opportunity "to meet again with customers, importers, and carriers, in addition to exchanging opinions about the last campaign."
"We highlight the opportunity it offers for reuniting with all our collaborators and clients as a positive aspect of our participation in Fruit Attraction 2026," Ojeda added.
Transbull's presence at the fair is integrated into the joint offering that the port community of Algeciras directs to the fruit and vegetable market, with services related to transportation, refrigerated storage, customs, inspection, and distribution for goods from different international markets.
For Transbull, this activity focuses on the combination of refrigeration capacity, customs management, and transport, with more than 2,400 square meters of temperature-controlled storage and 21 loading docks dedicated to handling perishable products within their import and export chains.
