TIBA participates in Fruit Attraction 2026 as one of the 24 companies in the port community that accompanies the Port Authority of the Bay of Algeciras (APBA) at IFEMA Madrid. The company arrives at the fair with a division specialized in perishable goods that covers different phases of the logistics chain for fruits and vegetables, from the hiring of international transportation to temperature-controlled storage and customs procedures.

Fresh, frozen and dehydrated fruits and vegetables are expressly part of the categories served by this division, along with frozen juices, refrigerated dairy products, meats, processed products, and fish products. The operations are designed for goods in which factors such as temperature, conservation conditions, and transit times are part of the transport planning.

In the maritime field, TIBA works with reefer FCL containers for full loads that need to travel at controlled temperatures. These units are used for fruits, vegetables, and other cold-sensitive products and can also be incorporated into operations where certain destination markets require phytosanitary treatments through cold treatment.

The company also incorporates multiprovider consolidation services, which allow gathering goods from different suppliers into one refrigerated container. In export, its catalog for perishables includes temperature-controlled storage, thermal control solutions, customs processing, and advice for exporters and commercial operators.

For imports, the offer includes quality control at origin and destination, advice on regulations, customs management, obtaining health authorizations, and temperature-controlled storage. This combination allows coordinating different processes within the same structure that can intervene from the moment the product leaves the country of origin until its delivery to the importer or distributor.

TIBA's office in the Logistical Area of El Fresno, in Los Barrios, connects these services with the activity of the Port of Algeciras. From this delegation, the company works in maritime, air, and land transport and develops specific activity as a customs agent. The company also indicates the link of its team to land transport with Morocco and, particularly, to the customs clearances for import and export associated with this corridor.

This position has a direct application in the horticultural chains that use the Strait. An operation can combine road transport from Moroccan production areas, maritime crossing, corresponding customs procedures and official controls, and subsequent distribution to the European market. In other traffic, Algeciras acts as an entry point for fruit transported in reefer containers from transoceanic markets.

TIBA's activity also allows organizing door-to-door operations by combining maritime, land, and air transport. Its logistics structure incorporates warehouses and depots subject to different customs regimes and consolidation and distribution services, which allows managing goods that need to remain temporarily stored before continuing their journey.

The company presents its perishables service through a single interlocutor to coordinate the different phases of food importation. Supervision begins at origin, continues with the selection of transport and transit times, and reaches the delivery of the goods at destination, incorporating customs management during the process.

TIBA's presence in Madrid is integrated into the logistics proposal that the APBA presents to the horticultural sector during Fruit Attraction 2026. The Port of Algeciras has more than 5,500 connections for refrigerated containers at its two terminals, in addition to a capacity of over 30,000 pallets in refrigerated terminals and logistics areas located in its surroundings.

Costa Rica and Peru remain among the main origins of refrigerated cargo that Algeciras handles, while Egypt has recorded a growth of 185% since 2024, mainly associated with citrus fruits. Pineapple, avocado, and banana are among the products with the highest presence in imports, while bone fruit gains weight in exports.

Within this network, TIBA provides an operation specifically aimed at perishables that combines the organization of international transport, reefer equipment, customs, storage, and distribution, with a delegation located in the immediate vicinity of the Port of Algeciras and also linked to land flows with Morocco.
