Tramarco participates in Fruit Attraction 2026 as one of the 24 companies from the port community that accompany the Port Authority of the Bay of Algeciras (APBA) at IFEMA Madrid. The company joins the Algeciras representation from the field of maritime and port services, with an activity that includes maritime agency, cargo handling, loading and unloading operations, stowage, transshipments, and logistics coordination.
This offer places Tramarco at various moments of a product's passage through the port. The company provides services related to the arrival and departure of vessels, the handling of cargo at the dock, and its transfer between different modes of transport, as well as coordinating necessary movements for inspections or for the subsequent delivery of goods.
Within its port activity, Tramarco works in loading and unloading operations of vessels and in transshipments, adapting the means used to the type of cargo and the characteristics of each scale. The company also includes transport services linked to these operations, including the necessary movements for certain loads to be inspected before continuing to their destination.
These functions are also part of the international chains of fruits and vegetables. A perishable product arriving in Algeciras may require movements within the port area, a physical inspection, a transshipment, or a transfer before joining the next leg of transport. In these processes, the handling and coordination services developed by Tramarco are involved.
The company also maintains stowage activity linked to the Strait's traffic, with experience in the Algeciras-Tangier Med and Algeciras-Ceuta connections. These routes are part of the maritime corridors used by trucks and semi-trailers connecting North Africa with the Peninsula.
In traffic with Morocco, a portion of the fruits and vegetables travels in refrigerated units that arrive at the port of origin by road, make the maritime crossing, and subsequently continue to European markets. The port operation allows for the coordination of the loading and unloading of those units within a chain in which land transport, maritime transport, and border procedures succeed each other.
Tramarco also develops maritime agency services, from which it addresses the operational needs of vessels during their calls. Its activity includes the coordination of port services and the necessary assistance to manage operations related to the vessel's stay and the goods in port.
To these lines is added the management of project cargo and other goods that require specific handling and transport procedures. The company has maritime consulting and logistics coordination services and works both in Algeciras and in other enclaves around the Strait and the Mediterranean.
Its participation in Fruit Attraction allows for the incorporation of this maritime-port aspect to a delegation made up of operators with different profiles. While some of the companies present in Madrid focus on refrigerated storage, reefer transport, customs representation, or land distribution, Tramarco mainly intervenes in operations that take place around the vessel, the dock, and the movements of goods within the port environment.
This activity affects both the rolling cargo of the Strait and other goods that use Algeciras in import, export, or transshipment operations. In the horticultural sector, the port combines flows coming from Morocco through Ro-Ro connections with long-distance refrigerated traffic arriving in containers from different international markets.
Tramarco's participation is framed in this way in the joint offer that the Port of Algeciras presents during Fruit Attraction 2026, covering maritime agency services, port operations, handling, stowage, transport, and coordination of cargo within the logistics chains that use the Algeciras enclave.
