What this indicator measures

Exports are measured in euros declared at customs (DataComex, Ministry of Economy) and attributed to the province where the exporting company is based, not to the port through which the goods leave. That is why Cádiz and Huelva weigh so much (refining and chemicals) and why Sevilla and Almería (aerospace and agri-food) rank above provinces with larger ports.
