Salvat Logistics participates in Fruit Attraction 2026 as one of the 24 companies of the port community that accompany the Port Authority of the Bay of Algeciras (APBA) at IFEMA Madrid. The company incorporates into the Algeciras representation a structure that combines international transport, customs management, storage, and distribution, with the capacity to extend the logistics operation from the port to various Spanish and European markets.

One of the main components of this offer is its storage network. Salvat declares a combined capacity of over 48,000 europallets and has facilities subject to different customs regimes to attend to international operations. The company provides these services under 3PL and 4PL models, allowing it to handle everything from specific storage and distribution operations to the management of different phases of the supply chain.

For the horticultural sector, this structure allows connecting the entry or exit of goods through Algeciras with logistics platforms and customers located in other parts of Spain and Europe once the corresponding port and customs procedures are completed.

Customs management constitutes one of the pillars of its activity. Salvat processes licenses, documentation, and authorizations related to import and export operations in addition to managing sanitary, veterinary, and phytosanitary inspections before the relevant bodies.

These functions have a direct application in the international trade of fruits and vegetables from third countries. Depending on the product and its origin, a shipment may require different official controls before entering the European distribution chain, which necessitates coordinating the customs documentation with the inspection procedures.

Salvat has for these operations facilities governed by figures such as Temporary Deposit Warehouse (ADT), Authorized Location for Export Goods (LAME), Public Customs Deposit (DAP), and Different from Customs Deposit (DDA). The company also holds authorization as an Authorized Economic Operator and provides assistance during customs inspections.

This combination allows for maintaining goods under customs control while the necessary procedures are completed and subsequently linking them with transport networks. For a horticultural load arriving in Algeciras in a container, the next leg may be developed by road towards a logistics platform, a distribution center, or directly to the final customer.

The activity is also supported by a proprietary warehouse management system that provides information on stock and merchandise movements. Salvat offers online stock control, management by radiofrequency, order preparation, replenishment, packaging customization, and other services associated with distribution.

Road transport completes this model. The company maintains services to numerous European markets, including France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, the United Kingdom, Portugal, and Scandinavian countries, in addition to connections with Morocco. This network is combined with maritime and air transport to organize international import and export operations.

For horticultural traffic using Algeciras, this capacity allows linking maritime transport with subsequent road distribution. A part of the fruits arriving at the port from transoceanic markets in reefer containers needs to continue by road to Spanish or European distribution centers, while other flows use the enclave as a point of departure to external markets.

The digitization of customs procedures also forms part of this activity. Salvat works with the H1 system currently used for import declarations in Spain, based on the structured electronic exchange of information with Customs and on the prior validation of data associated with operations.

The company holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications, in addition to its authorization as an Authorized Economic Operator. Its national structure allows integrating the activities developed from Algeciras with warehouses, delegations, and transport services located in other logistical nodes of the country.

At Fruit Attraction 2026, Salvat thus joins the port community's offer from the customs, storage, and distribution perspective, especially covering the segment that connects the arrival of goods at the Port of Algeciras with their subsequent incorporation into the land networks of Spain and Europe.
