The Gibraltar Port Authority (Gibraltar Port Authority, GPA) has announced that the next edition of Gibraltar's Maritime Week will take place during the week starting June 21, 2027. The meeting, organized alongside the Government of Gibraltar and the Gibraltar Maritime Services, will bring together representatives from the local and international maritime industry to address the opportunities and challenges of the sector.

The organization will include Ship Energy and the International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) as strategic partners. Both entities will participate in the preparation of a call that aims to promote Gibraltar's maritime activity and facilitate connection between companies, professionals, and representatives of organizations linked to this industry.

Gibraltar Maritime Week 2027 will feature a program of conferences, seminars, professional meetings, networking activities, and training opportunities. These initiatives will target various stakeholders in the maritime sector, with expected participation from local representatives and professionals from the international arena.

One of the central issues of the meeting will be Gibraltar's role as a center for maritime activity and fuel supply to ships. The organization intends to use this call to showcase its position in the sector and facilitate the exchange of experiences among operators, entities, and stakeholders involved in maritime industry activities.

IBIA's participation as a strategic partner brings to the organization an international association specifically linked to the marine fuel supply industry. Its collaboration is framed within the maritime and energy orientation of the call, which aims to bring together professionals related to various activities in the sector.

For its part, Ship Energy will also participate as a strategic partner in preparing the event, alongside the Gibraltar institutions responsible for its organization. The announcement does not yet specify the distribution of functions among the participating entities or the specific content that will be developed during the sessions.

The programming will combine technical and professional activities with spaces designated for networking among attendees. Through these meetings, the organizers seek to facilitate relationships between the maritime community of Gibraltar and international representatives from the industry, as well as examine the issues affecting its development.

The celebration of this sector week will bring together different actors of maritime activity in Gibraltar, in a format that includes both analytical sessions and training activities. The planned program will include opportunities for knowledge exchange among participants and for addressing the future perspectives of the industry.

The announcement places the next edition in June 2027, although no detailed schedule of activities or list of speakers has yet been communicated. The venues for the various sessions that will be part of the program have also not been specified.
