Transportes y Aduanas Bolipesk participates in Fruit Attraction 2026 as one of the 24 companies from the port community accompanying the Port Authority of the Bay of Algeciras (APBA) at IFEMA Madrid. The company focuses its activity on one of the corridors with the greatest direct relation to the European horticultural market: the transport of goods between Morocco and Europe through the Strait of Gibraltar.
The company combines international road transport, customs services, and logistics through its own structure on both sides of the Strait. Its fleet of trucks and trailers allows it to serve both full and partial loads, including goods that require temperature-controlled transportation.
Perishable and frozen products are a specific part of this activity. Bolipesk works with fresh food that needs to maintain certain thermal conditions during transit and has systems to track goods during transportation. The company links this capability especially to exchanges between Morocco and European markets.
Within this segment, the company has developed a specific communication line over the last few months regarding the transport of fruits and vegetables, particularly red fruits. Bolipesk notes that it has been managing the movement of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries between Morocco and Europe for several seasons, products for which transit times and temperature maintenance particularly condition the logistics operation.
The Algeciras-Tangier corridor constitutes the axis of this operation. Semi-trailers loaded with fresh products from Moroccan agricultural areas arrive at Tangier Med to cross the Strait using ro-ro services and continue from Algeciras to their final destinations by road.
On this route, the continuity of land transport before and after the maritime journey allows the same semi-trailer to accompany the goods for a large part of the logistics chain, reducing intermediate handling operations. The passage through Algeciras also includes customs procedures and, when applicable, the official controls required for the entry of food and plant products into the European Union.
Bolipesk integrates documentary and customs management within its transport offering. Its activity includes import and export operations and tracking the necessary documentation for border crossing, which allows for coordinating the physical movement of the truck with the procedures associated with the goods.
The company also has tracking tools for loads during transit and provides information on the status of operations. For refrigerated services, Bolipesk notes that it employs monitoring systems designed to control transportation conditions and maintain the cold chain between origin and destination.
Specialization in this corridor distinguishes its activity from transoceanic horticultural traffic that also uses the Port of Algeciras. While products such as pineapple, banana, or avocado mainly arrive in reefer containers from markets in America, a significant portion of Moroccan fruits and vegetables access the European market via trucks and semi-trailers loaded on short-distance connections across the Strait.
Bolipesk's presence at Fruit Attraction is precisely integrated into this terrestrial-maritime component of the Algeciras logistical offering. The company already participated this year alongside the APBA at Fruit Logistica in Berlin and maintains a commercial activity specifically aimed at companies that import and export perishable products between Morocco and Europe.
The APBA presents in Madrid an offer that brings together maritime and land transport, customs services, inspection, storage, and refrigerated logistics. Among the 24 companies present at the fair, Bolipesk provides an activity specifically linked to road traffic and the continuity by road of the goods crossing the Strait.
This operation also coincides with the development of new tools at the Port of Algeciras aimed at heavy traffic. During Fruit Attraction 2026, the Port Authority presents the new functionalities of Teleport 2.0, aimed at managing trucks and their operations within the port area.
