Grupo Alonso continues to expand its logistics division with the creation of Genius Forwarding, a new freight forwarding company based in Madrid that is born with the aim of offering highly personalized solutions, especially aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises.
The company is led by María Panizo and Alejandro Diez, professionals with extensive experience in the supply chain. Their proposal encompasses maritime, air, and land transportation, as well as the comprehensive management of customs procedures and consulting services in shipping to optimize costs and times.
As María Panizo has highlighted, the main differential value of the firm is its proximity to the client: "We do not limit ourselves to managing goods, but we act as an external department, supporting at all times with operational and after-sales support."
One of the pillars of Genius Forwarding is its personalized attention model, structured in four phases: detailed analysis of the client and their operations, needs assessment, preparation of a tailored quote, and direct management with real-time follow-up. This approach seeks to ensure transparency, control, and efficiency in each operation.
The company also incorporates sustainability criteria into its activities, promoting practices that reduce environmental impact and improve energy efficiency within the logistics chain.
From a corporate perspective, Genius Forwarding bets on a differentiated brand identity, with its own typography and the use of burgundy as a symbol of solidity and trust.
The creation of this new freight forwarder is part of Grupo Alonso's growth strategy, which in recent years has expanded its network of companies both nationally and internationally. With more than 60 years of experience and more than 200 companies, the group has a global presence and a workforce that exceeds 3,200 professionals.
