The International Logistics Fair (SIL Barcelona 2026), organized by the Consortium of the Free Trade Zone of Barcelona (CZFB), will open its doors this Wednesday at the Montjuïc venue of Fira de Barcelona to celebrate its 28th edition. Over three days, from June 3 to 5, the event will bring together companies, experts, and professionals from across the global supply chain, with Barcelona as a reference point for analyzing the challenges and opportunities of the logistics sector in a context of technological transformation, sustainability, and geopolitical tensions.
The inaugural event will take place at 10 AM in Pavilion 8 of the Montjuïc-Plaza España venue (Stand CZFB) and will feature the presence of the Secretary of State for Transport and Sustainable Mobility, José Antonio Santano; the Secretary of Business and Competitiveness of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Jaume Baró; the Deputy Mayor of the City Council of Barcelona, Jordi Valls; the Executive President of the CZFB and SIL, Pere Navarro; and the General Director of the CZFB and SIL, Blanca Sorigué.
This edition will feature the participation of over 600 companies—30% of which are international, coming from more than 80 countries—and it is expected that more than 15,000 professional visitors will attend. The program includes over 250 speakers of recognized international profile, more than 150 professional events, and specialized networking spaces.
One of the standout aspects of this edition is the world exclusive presentation of over 160 innovations by the participating companies. SIL will focus on the main trends transforming the sector, such as artificial intelligence, big data, IoT, or blockchain. As a novelty, this edition incorporates the SIL Lab space, dedicated to innovation and talent, and hosts nearly 80 startups that will present solutions in the field of logistics 4.0.
The SIL Knowledge conference will gather international experts to address key issues such as sustainability, the digitalization of the supply chain, and the impact of geopolitics on global logistics flows.
Pere Navarro, special delegate of the State at the CZFB and president of SIL, has pointed out that the fair has established itself as an 'international reference fair that has become the global launch platform for many companies in the sector,' and emphasized that 'the logistics sector is very dynamic and is characterized by connecting people, companies, talent, and creating great opportunities.'
For her part, Blanca Sorigué, General Director of the CZFB and SIL, has indicated that 'from June 3 to 5, with the celebration of SIL, Barcelona will once again become the world capital of logistics,' and highlighted the presence of companies from more than 80 countries alongside 'the latest in logistics innovation, high-level networking, activities, and conferences addressing globally relevant topics in the logistics field.'
