Tangier Logistics Days (TLD) will celebrate its eighth edition this Friday, September 25th, at the Tanger Med Port Center, featuring a program focused on the application of artificial intelligence, data management, and the evolution of professional profiles related to the supply chain. The meeting, organized by Tanger Med, will bring together representatives from companies, industry, distribution, transport, logistics, institutions, and academia for a day.
The 2026 edition will be held under the slogan "Augmented Supply Chain: humans and data, scarce and strategic resources", addressing the analysis of the transformation of organizations through the combination of technology, information, and human capabilities. Among the issues included by the organization are the effective incorporation of artificial intelligence into logistics operations, the new competencies of supply chain managers, changes in management models, and the relationship between operational performance, data sovereignty, and resilience.
The program will begin at 09:00 hours with the reception of participants and a networking session, followed by a welcome from the Tanger Med management team. Fabrice Lundy will be in charge of leading the day.
The first presentation, scheduled for 10:15 hours, will be dedicated to transformation through artificial intelligence and the supply chain of the future. The speech will be given by Knut Alicke, senior advisor at McKinsey and professor at the University of Cologne and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). The session will address, among other aspects, the predictive capabilities of AI, massive data analysis, decision automation, and real-time optimization of operations.
Next, a first round table will be held on the competencies, organizational balances, and leadership models of future supply chain managers. Participants will include Stephane Navarra, Global Vice President of Supply Chain at Alstom; Mary Oxley, Vice President of Marketing & Sales for the Middle East and Africa at DHL Global Forwarding; David Jammes, Director of Diagma; and Laurent Deloire, Director of Industrial Operations at Sia Partners.
The second individual block will feature Andrew Melville, co-founder and managing director for Europe of Mission Control AI. His presentation will focus on artificial intelligence in the supply chain from three areas: its operational application, sovereignty, and the transformation of competencies. The program raises questions related to the use of this technology in demand forecasting, inventory management, flow optimization, automation, and decision support.
The agenda will continue at 13:30 hours with a second round table dedicated to the management of operations and the role of management in increasingly digitalized environments. It will feature Sophie Rocquemont, Community HR Director Industrial & Supply Chain at Alstom; Ridouan Boulaich, Central Director of Organization and Information Systems at Tanger Med Port Authority; Amine Harrari, Head of Digital & AI, Supply Chain at OCP Group; and Jeremy Catteloin, specialist in Supply & Value Chain Advisory.
The sessions will conclude at 15:00 hours, after a Q&A session, and the program also includes a cocktail until 16:00 hours. The organization also anticipates networking activities among business leaders, industry professionals, logistics experts, researchers, and institutions, as well as visits to port and logistics facilities related to the event.
