The Free Zone of Cádiz has initiated today in Málaga "Blue Core on Route", a program of traveling presentations of its latest project of Blue Economy that will tour various cities in Spain, including Barcelona, Huelva, Seville, Almería, Murcia, Bilbao, Vigo, and Madrid. The tour will be carried out in partnership with allied entities of the Cádiz Consortium that are part of its Blue Economy ecosystem.
The initiative aims to present the Blue Core–Incubazul project on a national scale and strengthen the connection of the Cádiz Blue Economy ecosystem with other strategic territories of the country. The program of meetings is designed to bring the model developed by the Free Zone closer to various agents in the business, technological, institutional, and academic fields, with the intention of generating new alliances, attracting talent, promoting innovative projects, and positioning Cádiz as one of the main nodes of Blue Economy in Spain.
The Málaga capital has been the starting point of this calendar. The first of the presentations was held today at the headquarters of the Málaga Chamber of Commerce, organized together with the Maritime Cluster of Andalucía. The opening of the day was led by the president of the Cluster, Javier Noriega, along with the president of the Digital Economy Commission of the Chamber of Commerce, Ricardo Nandwani, and the managing director of Málaga Port, Pilar Fernández.
The State Delegate in the Free Zone of Cádiz, Fran González, has presented the Blue Core program, co-financed by FEDER funds, which continues the high-innovation incubator Incubazul and consolidates the strategic commitment of the Cádiz Consortium to Blue Economy as a vector for economic development, innovation, and the creation of qualified employment.
