Gabarras & Servicios inicia sus actividades en el año 1.981 año en el que los socios del Varadero Isla Verde (concesión administrativa) del Puerto de Algeciras, deciden adaptar y transformar 2 embarcaciones, que luego se va ofreciendo a los Consignatarios de la Bahía, para efectuar servicios de transporte tanto de personal como de aprovisionamiento de buques fondeados.
La experiencia adquirida con la reforma de nuestras embarcaciones da pie al inicio de una nueva actividad como taller de reparaciones navales.
El crecimiento de la Empresa transcurre paralelo al desarrollo del Puerto Bahía de Algeciras. Desde nuestra fundación hasta hoy hemos adaptado nuestra forma de enfocar el negocio para conseguir que Gabarras & Servicios sea una empresa puntera y una referencia para nuestros competidores.
Nuestra flota
Nuestra flota crece, hasta las 7 embarcaciones que tenemos en estos momentos, diversificamos la oferta de servicios que se ofrecían, incorporando además de los servicios de transporte de personal y avituallamiento, el de sustitución de anclas y cadenas, suministros de agua dulce, siendo la única empresa de la Bahía que ofrece el transporte de aceites lubricantes en tanques de doble casco no estructurales.
Además, hemos incorporado el servicio de lucha contra la contaminación marina, adaptando la mayoría de nuestros barcos para este fin, con tangones y barreras incorporadas a bordo para una respuesta inmediata.
