Everwood Capital acquires Agencia Paublete to integrate it into AGSA-PARTIDA

The Everwood Capital Transport and Logistics Fund has completed the acquisition of 100% of Agencia Paublete, a company specializing in customs management and foreign trade based in the Port of Algeciras. The operation contemplates the integration of Paublete into AGSA-PARTIDA, the customs management platform that the fund has been developing since the purchase of Partida Logistics and the subsequent incorporation of AGSA Logistics.

Founded in 1987 as a family business, Agencia Paublete has consolidated over more than three decades as one of the reference customs operators in the Campo de Gibraltar. During 2025, it managed nearly 50,000 customs declarations for a client portfolio exceeding 500, with a team of 23 specialized professionals. The company has had Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certification since 2012, a first-level accreditation that positions it as a trusted partner of the Tax Agency and allows it to operate with centralized customs clearance at any Spanish customs.

With offices in Algeciras and La Línea de la Concepción, and an authorized warehouse for export goods, Paublete operates in one of the most relevant logistics enclaves in Europe: the Strait of Gibraltar, through which approximately 20% of the world's maritime traffic transits and which acts as a gateway for goods between Europe, Africa, and international markets.

The incorporation expands the capabilities of AGSA-PARTIDA with a specialization in traffic with Gibraltar, daily groupages, dangerous goods management, and border inspections, areas in which Paublete has a recognized track record in the region.

After the operation, the resulting group will achieve nearly 30 million euros in net sales and will manage around 200,000 annual customs declarations for over 2,000 clients, with a workforce close to 200 professionals. Its network of offices, located in Algeciras, La Línea de la Concepción, Barcelona, Almería, and more recently, Tangier and Tangier Med, positions AGSA-PARTIDA as a leading independent operator in the main logistics and commercial corridors between Europe, the Iberian Peninsula, and North Africa.

For Juan José Andrés, partner of Everwood Transport and Logistics, "the acquisition of Agencia Paublete is a strategic decision that strengthens our leadership position in an area of global importance. The Campo de Gibraltar is Spain's most active border and one of the most critical logistics passages in Europe: having the reference operator here gives us a unique competitive advantage." The executive adds that Paublete "incorporates 35 years of specialization, deep relationships with the port authority and shipping companies, and a service culture that fully shares the values of AGSA-PARTIDA. Together we have the scale, reach, and knowledge to be, without a doubt, the leading independent platform in Spain."

The purchase of Paublete is the sixteenth operation of the Everwood Capital Transport and Logistics Fund. Through its various platforms, the fund has configured a business ecosystem that integrates companies in complementary areas: MARESA Logistics and ALTAIR CL in freight forwarding; the Trelix group (resulting from the integration of HTG, ARIN EXPRESS, and TRANSPANEUROPA) in industrial express transportation; A TU HORA EXPRESS in last-mile logistics; AGSA-PARTIDA and Paublete in customs management and foreign trade; the PRONTIA Logistics group in national cold transportation and logistics; and Tudefrigo, Transportes Cruz, and Grupo Transmolbo in international cold transportation and logistics.

The operation comes just weeks after the announcement of the purchase of Tudefrigo, dedicated to international refrigerated transport, and positions the Port of Algeciras as a central piece in Everwood Capital's consolidation strategy in the customs segment. The concentration of offices in the Campo de Gibraltar and on both sides of the Strait — with a presence in Tangier and Tangier Med — responds to the logic of a corridor through which the main flows of containers, ro-ro, and dangerous goods circulate between the European Union and the African continent, an area where specialization in customs clearance, border inspections, and groupages constitutes a significant entry barrier for new competitors.
